So when my 7 year old daughter was attending a disco, who better to consult for hairstyle advice than Pinterest! I found really fantastic and easy hairstyles to create. We decided to create this awesome hairstyle, don't ask em what it's called but my daughter has dubbed it the 'Spiderweb'.
How cool did it turn out! She loved it and so did her friends. :)

Hair Clip Board
Today I decided to make a Hair Clip Board for my daughter. We had an old frame to use which accidently had its glass broken. I had seen similar ideas used with a canvas board so I thought I would give this one a go!
I used scrapbooking paper for the background cut to shape. I then secured the ribbons along with brads you would use for scrapbooking. Attach the clips - and you're done! This took me about 10 minutes to make while the children were finishing their dinner tonight. Very simple and cheap! Perfect upcycle project.

DIY Barbie Closet
So most Mothers of little girls will know that Barbie has a pretty darn big wardrobe for a doll! My daughter has accumulated lots of beautiful items, which lovingly get stuffed into the toy box, then lost or damaged. This of course - results in tears.
Here is my solution! I got a cardboard filing box (2 for $2 from Kmart), some wire, mini pegs ($2 from Officeworks) and leftover wrapping paper. A few holes, twists and taping up and there we have it! Barbie's very own DIY closet!
